Interior design for boutique hotels and guesthouses
We design interiors for independent hotels and guesthouses, usually between 5 and 25 rooms, owned by the people who'll live with the result. Converted farmhouses, townhouses, coastal retreats and country houses. The kind of places people travel to stay in.
We’re based in London and work across the UK, with a particular soft spot for the Cotswolds, Cornwall and the South West. Our hospitality work so far includes Bodkin House, a boutique hotel in the Cotswolds.
Hotel design that earns its keep
A hotel room is a business decision with a headboard. It has to photograph well enough to sell itself on a booking site. It has to survive thousands of guests and their suitcases. And it should give people a reason to book direct next time, so the platforms take less of your money
What we bring to a hotel project
We start with your guests. Before a single mood board, we want to know who your guests are. What they're escaping, what they'd book if they didn't book you, and what you'd love them to write in the review. The design follows from that.
We talk numbers as easily as fabrics
Isabelle spent 10 years in product management, mainly in corporate banking, getting the customer experience right while balancing cost, quality and time. Designing a boutique hotel is much the same, except you can walk into it. A fit-out is a capital investment, and we’ll talk to you about room rate, occupancy and payback in the same meeting as headboards.
We design for real use
Hospitality is harder on a room than any home. We specify for it: contract-grade fabrics, fire ratings, finishes that clean easily, and layouts housekeeping can turn round quickly.
You always know where things stand
You know what's happening this week and what's next. You're only pulled in when a decision actually needs you, and any problem reaches you with the solution already worked out. The finished space works from day one, for you, your team and your guests.
