Welcome to
Maximinimalism
Maximinimalism™ is all about harmony and balance, the sweet spot where minimalism’s serenity and structure meet maximalism’s eclectic vibrancy and layered depth. It’s the art of creating considered spaces that tell a story, whether it’s a home, or commercial environment.
Everyone sits somewhere on the spectrum between calm restraint and expressive abundance - and part of the design process is tuning into where you fall. By understanding your preferences, values, and the function of the space, we tailor the level of boldness or simplicity to suit you. The result? Interiors that are not only visually compelling, but that feel intuitively aligned and entirely unique.
It’s a style for those who crave simplicity without sacrificing soul. A way to make room not just for beauty and function, but for individuality and to tell a story.
Isabelle Ada Interiors is a London-based design studio creating spaces with energy and intention. We work across both residential and boutique commercial interiors, from thoughtfully styled homes to expressive hospitality and creative environments. Our work is grounded in the belief that good design doesn’t just make a space look beautiful, it transforms how it feels and functions day to day.
Whether we’re rethinking flow, resolving awkward layouts, or aligning your environment with your brand or lifestyle, we approach design as a practical, collaborative process. Our aesthetic leans into contrasting modern lines alongside classical details, contemporary pieces layered with antiques. It’s a considered tension that brings soul, depth, and personality to a space and a style that embraces both quiet simplicity and expressive detail.
Founded by Isabelle Parkinson, the studio was born out of a lifelong fascination with the relationship between people and their environments and how one influences the other. Combined with over a decade working in the corporate world, managing complex, high-value projects, Isabelle brings both creative sensitivity and strategic thinking to every brief. Her approach bridges the emotional and visual language of interiors with methodical delivery.
The studio takes on a range of work, from full-home refurbishments and hospitality design to smaller-scale transformations and offer a hands-on, full-service approach. This includes everything from design concept and spatial planning to bespoke joinery, material sourcing, art curation, and coordination with contractors and trades. Our aim is always to ensure the process feels clear, supported, and purposeful.
